Short Track Speed Skating
Canada's short track speed skating team made history, winning their first medal of the Games in the mixed relay. Kim Boutin, a veteran of the sport, claimed her fifth Olympic medal, solidifying her status as Canada's most decorated female short track speed skater. The team included Boutin, Courtney Sarault, William Dandjinou, and Félix Roussel, with Florence Brunelle and Steven Dubois contributing in earlier rounds.
Figure Skating
Stephen Gogolev impressed once again, finishing the men's short program in 10th place with a score of 87.41. This performance secured him a spot in the second-to-last flight of the men's free skate on Friday.
Freestyle Skiing
Four Canadians advanced to the finals of the men's and women's moguls events. Julien Viel and Mikaël Kingsbury finished second and third, respectively, in the first men's qualification round, securing their place in Thursday's final. MaÏa Schwinghammer led the Canadian women, placing sixth in the first qualification round.
Hockey
In a highly anticipated match, Team Canada faced the United States in women's hockey. The Americans emerged victorious with a 5-0 score, improving their record to 4-0 in the preliminary round. Canada will play their final group stage game on Thursday against Finland.
Alpine Skiing
Valérie Grenier and Laurence St-Germain finished 13th in the first women's Olympic team combined event, with a total time of 2:24.05. Cassidy Gray finished 22nd in the downhill, while Ali Nullmeyer was disqualified during her slalom run.
Luge
Embyr-Lee Susko, the top Canadian in the women's singles event, placed 15th with a combined time of 3:33.802. She overcame a challenging start, moving up two spots after two consistent runs on Tuesday.
Cross-Country Skiing
The women's and men's classic sprints took place at the Tesero Cross-Country Stadium. Jasmine Drolet, Alison Mackie, Sonjaa Schmidt, and Olivia Bouffard-Nesbitt finished 43rd, 44th, 45th, and 51st, respectively, in the women's event. In the men's event, Antoine Cyr, Xavier McKeever, Tom Stephen, and Rémi Drolet placed 39th, 41st, 47th, and 56th, respectively.
Biathlon
Four Canadians competed in the men's 20km individual event. Adam Runnalls and Zachary Connelly finished 64th and 66th, respectively, while Logan Pletz and Jasper Fleming placed 77th and 86th.
